Members of the Research Centre have organised, and contributed to, practitioner training across a wide range of medical, legal and social care settings.
We have developed free e-learning courses (see training) and also conduct training sessions in person for a wide range of professions (half day or full day workshops).
Our training work has included contributing to training sessions for lawyers (accredited by the Solicitors Regulation Authority) and training for clinicians and allied health professionals in a range of settings (care homes, hospitals, rehab centres and hospices) as well as working with other relevant professions (e.g Independent Mental Capacity Advocates).
